The Full Story
Rustwerks Publishing was born from simple beginnings — a mix of mechanical work, late nights, and creative curiosity.
In 2024, while deployed to Prince Sultan Air Base (PSAB) in Saudi Arabia, there wasn’t much to do outside of work. Most of the games available didn’t hold any real interest, so instead of playing something, a story started to form. It began as a rough script, just something to pass the time, but those notes turned into a full story — and eventually into a book.
That book became the spark for something more — a small, independent publishing company built on effort, honesty, and imagination.
The name Rustwerks came naturally. It reflects both the mechanical and creative sides of the process: building something by hand, refining it over time, and letting the imperfections show character. Rust isn’t weakness — it’s proof of work. “Werks” stands for the craft, the structure, and the care that goes into creating something lasting.
